Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s annual “Lighting Up the Holidays” celebration will take place on Wednesday, December 4 at the University Center. It is free and open to the public.
The event features horse-drawn hayrides from 4:30 to 8 p.m., pictures with Santa from 5 to 7 p.m. and a reception with cookies, hot chocolate and apple cider. It also includes a welcome from NMU President David Haynes, caroling and performances by New Attitudes dancers. The NMU Bookstore will be open until 8 p.m. for its annual holiday sale.
