MARQUETTE–Marquette singer-songwriters Amy Lakanen and Troy Graham will be the featured Beaumier Coffee House Series performers on Saturday, Dec. 7. Their concert will be held at 7 p.m. in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center. Admission is free (donations are encouraged). Beverages and snacks will be available.
Lakanen is an experienced songwriter who has performed with many artists in the community, including in the group Cannonball McKay with Jeff Krebs. She is also a member of the Dead River Derby. Graham has been an active performer and songwriter in Marquette for over a decade. In addition to his solo performances, he is a member of the groups Sparrow Tree and Shadow Arcade. Graham has performed at almost every venue in the region and also at the Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival.
