Interviewing Workshop at Michigan Tech on November 26th

Interviewing Workshop

Michigan Tech Campus in Houghton, Michigan

Junior and senior special education students will have the opportunity to do mock interviews, play the Reality Store, visit with local college representatives, complete resumes and learn about safety on the job.

The Reality Store is a game based on real life situations. The game was started, and sponsored, by the Business Professional Women’s. The students will draw from a hat to decide marital status, and number of children and will visit different tables to experience a variety of real life situations. This game is intended to simulate “real life” in a fun way and get students thinking about transition into adulthood.

Extreme Safety for working teens. It is MIOSHA’S mission to prevent injuries and help protect teen workers by promoting positive work experiences. Fact 60-70 teens die from work related injuries each year. 200,000 seek emergency medical treatment

Practice Interview Skills– local employers will do interviews
