Marquette – Readers Theater welcomes the public to join in a reading of “Heroes” by Gerald Sibleyras on Thursday, November 21 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This comedy is set in 1959 in a French retirement home for World War I veterans. “Heroes” is a hilarious and poignant tale of three veterans who pass their monotonous days by engaging in verbal battle.
Readers Theater is a group of adults, who are interested in drama and are willing and able to read a scripted role. They meet on the third Thursday of each month to read plays for enjoyment. New readers are always welcome.
