Calendar – Benefits/Fundraisers – 13th Annual First Nations Food Taster – Nov. 8

Marquette – The Northern Michigan University Native American Students Association will offer the 13th Annual First Nations Food Taster on Friday, November 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the D.J. Jacobetti Center.

The food taster encourages cultural diversity on Northern Michigan University’s campus and within the community by providing a variety of indigenous foods for people to enjoy. This event is a fundraiser for the spring “Learning to Walk Together” Traditional Powwow.

Advanced tickets are $12 for the general public and $5 for NMU students with ID and Elders. Tickets at the door will be $15 for the public and $7 for NMU students and Elders. Tickets for children will be available only at the door for $7.
