Negaunee P.D. Offers Safe Place to Dispose of Expired Medications

NEGAUNEE, MI – The Negaunee Police Dept now has a depository for old medications to be disposed of.  Police say they cannot accept anything other than pill form medications – no patches, no syringes or other sharps and no liquids of any kind.  The drop box is located in the outer lobby of the police department in Negaunee near the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the library.  Drop any pills off during regular business hours, Monday through Friday between 8am and 4pm, or anytime an officer is at the station. Residents can call ahead if it is the weekend or after 4pm.
