MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN — CineArts Films at Peter White Public Library, a series devoted to foreign and independent films, will show the movie “Hyde Park on the Hudson” on Friday, October 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room.
This story of the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin Margaret “Daisy” Suckley recounts the weekend in 1939 when King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited upstate New York hoping to secure American support against Nazi Germany.
