Cliffs Autumn Classic Cross Country Run – October 12th

Negaunee, Michigan – The 5th Annual Cliffs Autumn Classic 5K and 10K cross country run will be held on Saturday, October 12 at Suicide Hill Ski Bowl located between Ishpeming and Negaunee on Business M-28.

Registration is from 8:30-9:30am with the run starting at 10am. There will be awards for the top finishers and random prizes for all participants. The trail will be a 5K loop on the old cross country ski trails on some challenging terrain with moderate difficulty. Runners doing the 5K will do one lap while the 10K runners will complete two laps.

Participants can register online at Active.com or on-site the day of the event.

From 12noon to 3pm the Ishpeming Ski Club will host the second annual Fall Fest which will feature a pumpkin roll down the 90 meter landing hill.

There will also be kids games, hay rides, and ski jumping demos.

Proceeds will go to aid the development of the Suicide Hill Ski Bowl facilities. The event host is the Ishpeming Ski Club. For more information contact Bob Hendrickson at 906.204.0520.
