Marquette – The Laughing Whitefish Audubon Society and the Nature Conservancy will jointly present the film “The Lost Bird Project” on Wednesday, October 9 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This film documents an attempt to memorialize the five North American birds lost to extinction in modern times and includes visits to the location of the last known sighting of each species.
