(Chocolay, Michigan) – “As the Chocolay Township Volunteer Fire/Rescue Department vacates its present fire hall and moves operations into its brand new station, area residents will have an opportunity to view both the old and the new facilities on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from noon until 3:00 pm. The Open House will also include a moving sale silent auction of used Fire Department items, recovered property from the Police Department, and surplus materials from other Township operations. A utility trailer and police patrol sedan are included in the sale. A complete list of auction items and rules is available at www.chocolay.org. Area residents are invited to come view the huge improvement in Township fire fighting facilities, and take home a souvenir!! Refreshments will be served.”
