(Marquette, MI) – Early Learners is a new parent/child skill building playgroup, and a fun one at that! Each week a different theme will be accentuated through activity based play. (i.e. exhibit areas and animals will be used to conquer fears, both for the adults and children). Other themes include patience, confidence and others. Snacks will be provided!
This is an ongoing program that will run in four-week patterns. Families are invited to pay for one four-week series, and are encouraged to continue with the program to build parent child bonds. The sessions will be held from 10-11:30am on Thursdays at the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum. The dates below reflect the four-week pattern of the program
- Oct 3th, 10th, 17th, and 24th
- Nov 7th, 14th, 21st, and Dec 5th
- Jan 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
The cost is $15 per month and includes free entrance to the museum for the entire day on program days.
Early Learners will be run by Museum employees Cole Swiston and Jim Edwards in collaboration with Michelle Granger.
