School of the Americas Exposed April 1

Father Roy Bourgeois, founder of the School of the Americas Watch, will speak on Tuesday, April 1 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

The School of the Americas is at Fort Benning, Georgia and has gained notoriety for training hundreds of soldiers from Latin America in combat skills every year, all at the U.S. taxpayers expense.

Admission is free. The event is sponsored by the Marquette Citizens for Peace and Justice and the Latin American Student Association at NMU. For more information, call 475-7582 or 226-3445.
