The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum will welcome trucks from the Marquette Board of Light and Power and the Marquette Fire Department as part of its monthly Second Thursday Creativity Series coming up this Thursday, September 12th. Area children and families are welcome to check out the trucks as well as take part in a cardboard truck “traffic jam” inside the museum that evening.
Along with the activities with a “trucks” theme, there will also be creative snacks, unexpected music and more.
The Museum’s Second Thursday Creativity Series for pre-school and elementary aged children and their caregivers will run from 5:30 until
7:30 p.m. The event is free with admission or membership to the Museum.
Thursday is also Dominos Pizza Night at the Museum so pizza can be ordered for an extra cost by calling ahead by 5:30 that evening.
The Second Thursday program is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, the Max and Phyllis Reynolds Foundation, Kohls and Culvers.
