(Marquette, Michigan) — Celebrate the hockey spirit of Marquette at the fourth annual Hockey on Third parade, slated for Thursday, September 26. The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on North Third Street near the campus of NMU and will continue along Third Street, looping back to NMU on Arch and Front streets.
The parade features local hockey teams of all ages, as well as fans and local businesses. The celebration is held in conjunction with the Old Timers Hockey Tournament. Join in on the fun for this FAN-tastic celebration of hockey in downtown Marquette!
Hockey teams, players, fans, businesses and organizations interested in entering a float, decorated vehicle or marching unit in the parade can contact the Marquette Downtown Development Authority at (906) 228-9475 before Friday, September 13. Registration packets are available on the web at www.downtownmarquette.org. There is no cost to participate.
