Marquette – Tasty Reads, the book group for readers who love to cook, will host a tea party lunchtime event on Monday, September 16 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Indulge your taste buds and delight your senses with samples of high quality loose tea served in china teacups served by Hanna’s Tea Times of Negaunee along with sweets and savories prepared by the members of the Tasty Reads book group. Dishes are inspired by this month’s read “The Tea Table” by Shelley and Bruce Richardson.
Admission to the tea party is $8 per person. Tickets are available in advance at the library’s circulation desk or by calling 228-9510. Seating is limited.
