Marquette – The Peter White Library Book Group will meet to discuss “The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris, 1830-1900” by David McCullough on Tuesday, September 3 at 7 p.m. in the Dandelion Cottage Room of the library.
This is a story of the adventurous American artists, writers, doctors, politicians, architects and others of high aspiration who set off for Paris between 1830 and 1900, ambitious to excel in their work.
