NCLL Holds Hike on Heritage Trail August 8th

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will lead a hike on the newly completed Iron Ore Heritage Trail connecting Negaunee and Marquette. The hike is planned from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. Participants will meet at the trail on the intersection of M-35 and County Road 492.

Al Reynolds of IOHT will lead the hike to Bagdad Pond. The hike will follow the railroad grade through rock cuts, alongside ponds and past a rock processing company.

There is no cost for NCLL members and a fee of $5 for non-members. Register by Tuesday, July 30, by calling 227-2979.
