Marquette – Lake Superior Youth Theatre will offer a “Technical Theatre Camp” for ages 8 to 18, Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Lake Superior Theater at 207 Lake Shore Boulevard.
The camp will include instruction in design, costuming, stage make-up, stage painting techniques, backstage safety and training, properties design, sound design, set design, lighting design, special effects and stage management.
The cost is $75 per youth and financial aid full and half scholarships are available provided by the L.G. Kaufman
Foundation and the Phyllis and Max Reynolds Foundation.
Registration is available at the Lake Superior Theatre Box Office is at Ellwood Mattson Lower Harbor Park near the water’s edge; look for the small lighthouse.
