Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Summer Cinema Presents “Life of Pi” – July 11

Marquette – Summer Cinema will present a screening of “Life of Pi” on Thursday, July 11 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Based on the award winning novel by Yann Martel, “Life of Pi” is the story of a young man who survives a disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor: a fearsome Bengal tiger.

The 2012 release is rated PG and runs for 127 minutes. Summer Cinema invites the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy a recently released feature film in a dinner theater setting.
