Ishpeming – A benefit for Theresa Marra will be held on Saturday, June 1 from 3 to 7 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 325 S. Pine Street in Ishpeming.
There will be a dinner with spaghetti, salad, bread and beverages. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children over 4 years. There will also be raffles and a 50/50 drawing.
After retiring from Bell Memorial Hospital, Theresa was diagnosed with colon cancer which had metastasized to her brain. After two surgeries and radiation treatment, there are many medical bills. Proceeds from the event will help fund past and on-going treatment.
