Marquette – The Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge will be held on Saturday, March 16 beginning with registration at 1 p.m. at Marquette Mountain on M553 in Marquette.
A costume contest parade will be held at 2:15 p.m. and the plunge will take place immediately following the parade. The post plunge party and awards will begin at 4 p.m.
The event is a benefit for Special Olympics. Known for its zany costumes, the fundraiser features participants plunging into freezing water to raise money for a good cause.
