Marquette, Michigan – On Tuesday, May 14th, Marquette County families will be joining thousands of other early childhood supporters across Michigan in the Star Power 2013 Event. Marquette County’s Star Power Event will take place at the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum from 4:00 to 7:00 on May 14, 2013.
Star Power is a way to let lawmakers in Michigan know that early childhood is a priority. It is a way to let them know that you believe supporting early childhood education and promoting the health and general wellbeing of Michigan’s youngest residents is both an obligation and a critical component in our state’s economic revitalization.
Admission to the museum will be waived for those attending this event. The Marquette event is sponsored by the Great Start Coalition in partnership with the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum. Star Power 2013 is a program of the Michigan’s Sandbox Party. More information about the Marquette Star Power Event will be announced in the coming weeks.
