Once again, Rio Tinto Eagle Mine will host a series of community forums that will be held throughout Marquette and Baraga counties. The forums will be an opportunity to learn more about the status of Eagle Mine, participate in Eagle Mine’s Community Scorecard, and most importantly for community members to have an open dialog with Eagle representatives.
Below you’ll find the forum schedule.
- Monday, May 6th – Ishpeming Country Village Convention Center
- Thursday, May 9th – Humboldt Township Hall
- Tuesday, May 14th – Marquette Ramada Inn
- Wednesday, May 15th – L’Anse American Legion
- Tuesday, May 21st – Michigamme Township Hall
- Wednesday, May 22nd – Powell Township School
All forums will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM (see below). We’ve set additional time aside after each forum for discussion.
- 6:00 PM – 6:20 PM – Refreshments
- 6:20 PM – 6:45 PM – Presentation
- 6:45 PM – 7:30 PM – Community Scorecard
- 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Discussion
