Marquette – Marquette County’s Star Power Event will be held on Tuesday, May 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum.
Star Power is a way to let lawmakers in Michigan know that early childhood is a priority. It is a way to let them know that there are families supporting early childhood education and promoting the health and general well-being of Michigan’s youngest residents. It is both an obligation and a critical component in our state’s economic revitalization.
Admission to the museum will be waived for those attending this event. The Marquette event is sponsored by the Great Start Coalition in partnership with the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum. Star Power 2013 is a program of the Michigan’s Sandbox Part with thousands of supporters participating throughout the State.
