MARQUETTE, Mich.— A biology seminar on the overwintering of brook trout in Lake Superior will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8 in the Mead Auditorium at Northern Michigan University.
Graduate student Chris Gagnon will present “Overwintering of brook trout (salvelinus fontinalis) in Sevenmile Creek, Lake Superior, Michigan, USA,” which describes the process and challenges of brook trout living though the harsh Upper Peninsula winter, and is presented by the NMU biology department.
The event is free and open to the public.
