Marquette – The Third-Saturday Series at the History Center will offer “Let’s Keep It Moving” on Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marquette Regional History Center, 145 W. Spring Street, Marquette.
This is an open house format hands-on and activity day featuring an opportunity to try your hand at making a fly for fishing, a kite or balsa wood plane to set a-flight, and a pinwheel for wind speed. See how the iron lung helps people to breathe. Play games such as marbles and jacks to keep on moving. Meet a character, Alfred, to learn about transportation movement.
The event is included with museum admission: $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, $3 forud students, and $2 for youth 12 and under.
