Celebrating 80 Years at Bay Cliff Health Camp

The Marquette Regional History Center announces the opening of the special exhibit, “Celebrating 80 Years at Bay Cliff Health Camp.” This special exhibit will be on display March 25 through June 1. Elba Morse, RN and Dr. Goldie Cornelieson began the camp during the Depression to help undernourished children of the Upper Peninsula. With the polio epidemic of the 1940s, its mission expanded to reach out to physically disabled children, a mission it continues today. Visitors can see early therapeutic devices and view historic film of the campers. Come see why Bay Cliff has transformed the lives of so many.

Viewing of this special exhibit is part of normal admission fees. Visit www.marquettehistory.org for business hours. Call 906-226-3571 with questions.
