Marquette, Michigan – The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum in Marquette will benefit from a new “friends” group that has been formed and is seeking interested members.
The group will be called, “FRIENDS OF THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM” and will have a simple mission of “helping the Children’s Museum.” As the concept is being fleshed out for the group the plan is to meet once a quarter with extra meetings when needed.
The group will hash out ideas and help to make amazing things possible for the thousands of families and children who visit the Museum each year. Former Children’s Museum Board Member Peg Schwemin of Marquette is heading up the formation of this group.
