Negaunee – A benefit spaghetti dinner for Jack Stanaway and his family will be held on Sunday, April 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Negaunee Township Hall on M-35.
There will be a silent auction, raffle tickets, 50/50 drawings in addition to a delicious spaghetti dinner. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under.
Jack is 6 years old and attends the Father Marquette Elementary School in the first grade. He has been diagnosed with “Coats” disease, a very rare congenital eye disorder causing irreversible partial or full blindness, characterized by abnormal development of blood vessel’s behind the retina. The family is encountering mounting medical and household bills.
