Economic Club Dinner Meeting March 18th

Marquette, Michigan – The guest speaker at the Economic Club dinner meeting, March 18th at the Ramada, will be John Nevin, Public Affairs Advisor to the U.S. Section of the International Joint Commission of the US and Canada or better known as the IJC.

The IJC has two main responsibilities: regulating shared water uses and investigating transboundary issues and recommending solutions. The IJC’s recommendations and decisions take into account the needs of a wide range of water uses, including drinking water, commercial shipping, hydroelectric power generation, agriculture, industry, fishing, recreational boating and shoreline property.

The Econ Club social hour begins at 6 PM, offering a unique and related networking period and introduction to dinner which is served at 7 PM and our featured speaker at 8 PM. The evening concludes promptly at 9 PM.
