Munising – It's all about cats at the Alger County Animal Shelter in Munising throughout the month of September.
Adoption fee for any cat or kitten is $30, which includes spay/neuter surgery and rabies vaccination.
The shelter is located at 510 E. Munising Avenue in Munising and is open from 9 a.m. to noon 7 days a week. Additional hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
