Negaunee – U.P. Whitetails Association of Marquette County will sponsor the 14th Annual Safe Hunting and Shooting Day for Youth on Saturday, September 6 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Negaunee Rod and Gun Club.
The event is free for youth ages 10 to 16 and limited to the first 140 entries.
Events will include air rifle, .22 rifle, archery and shotgun, with prizes awarded in three age categories.
Equipment and ammo will be provided. Archery equipment in cases will be allowed, but no guns.
