Champion – Start the New Year and your resolutions on the right track and get “Fresh Air Fit.” Strap on your snowshoes or lace up your boots to shoe in the New Year from 10 a.m. to noon at Van Riper State Park in Champion.
The 1.2 Mile course will vary from easy to moderate in difficulty; all ages are welcome. The course starts at the Headquarters building and will continue into the park down through the rustic campground and onward to the shelter building where you can warm up next to a cozy fire and enjoy some snacks and warm beverages. Once you have warmed up by the fire you can continue the short trek back to Headquarters.
