Marquette – The Liberty Children's Art Project will offer a two-day knitting workshop for adults beginning on Friday, August 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. with a trunk show, a pattern sale and a lecture titled “Designing Knit Marquette.”
The event will be held in the Marquette Arts and Culture Center at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
A workshop on Saturday, August 23 will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. featuring lace making tips and techniques, cable fingerless gloves and an open knitting session.
Workshop registration, supply lists and materials are available at Uncommon Threads, 443 W. Washington Street, Marquette.
