Marquette – A program titled “A Strand of Vermicelli: Dr. Darwin's Part in the Creation of Frankenstein's Monster” will be presented by Christopher Smith on Friday, February 13 at 3:10 p.m. in Gries Hall Room 167 at Northern Michigan University.
Smith, an honorary visiting fellow in the department of vision sciences at Aston University Birmingham, England, will illustrate and discuss the influence of Erasmus Darwin on Mary Shelly”s gothic novel “Frankenstein.”
