Ishpeming – A Holiday Open House will be held on Sunday, December 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library.
The Friends of the Library will be decorating a number of Christmas trees, and those attending are invited to bring a book to place under a tree for distribution to a young person by The Mining Journal Cheer Club. Music will be presented by a string quartet, and holiday treats will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
The Friends will have the 2012 recipe book as well as 2013 historic Ishpeming calendars and several types of note cards for sale as well. There are two new entry ramps, making the building handicap accessible.
