Marquette – A Fair Trade Market will be held on Saturday, November 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sunday, November 11 from noon to 3 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 305 W. Magnetic Street, in Marquette.
The fair will feature a variety of fair trade items handmade by disadvantaged artisans in developing regions around the world including jewelry, purses, bags, wood items and more. The market also will feature fairly traded coffee, tea, chocolates, soup mixes and olive oil. All proceeds help artisans to maintain steady work and earn a sustainable income.
