Ishpeming – The Marquette Senior High School Redettes and the Westwood High School Lady Patriots basketball teams will have a food drive competition at their game on Thursday, December 8 at Westwood High School in Ishpeming.
During the game, the teams will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items for local food pantries. They will also accept pet food and pet items for the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter.
An additional competition will be held at their game on Tuesday, December 20 in Marquette. Team members will then tally the donations after that game to determine the “winning” team.
