Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a history presentation and optional hike of the Heritage Trail in Negaunee on Tuesday, August 12 from noon to 4 p.m. meeting in the Marquette Mall parking lot on the west side of Pizza Hut.
The group will travel to the Negaunee Senior Center for lunch and a presentation by Carol Fulsher, head of the Heritage Trail Project, on the history, objectives and accomplishments of the project.
An optional 1.5 mile hike on the developed portion of the trail will follow the presentation, led by Kathy Peters.
Cost is $5 for the public, free for NCLL members. Registration deadline is Thursday, August 7. Call Ellen Zaki at 226-6169.
