Ishpeming—Actors from the world renowned Stratford (Ont.) Shakespeare Company will be at Westwood High School Oct. 23. The actors will present an interactive and completely hands-on program which explores the themes, characters, plots, language and times of Shakespeare. Participants from Westwood High School will be on stage with the actors. The program will be presented from 9-11 a.m. Oct. 23 in the auditorium.
“We’re delighted to have this opportunity,” said Westwood drama director B.G. Bradley “It’s a real honor to be part of Stratford’s U.P. tour.”
The group will be making stops at MTU, NMU and Rudyard High School before heading back to Stratford. The program is part of Stratford’s educational outreach program which performs across the Midwest and Canada. For further information contact Bradley at bradleybg@nice.k12.mi.us
