Free Anishinaabe Workshop – Language Class Fall 2012

City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center and the Marquette County Community Foundation provide Free Language class for Fall 2012 Workshop Series:

The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center’s is proud to announce a Free Anishinaabe Language class in the 2012 Fall Workshop Series. This workshop will be held Tuesdays, September 18th through November 6th from 6:00-7:30 p.m., and is open to all ages. This class will be taught by Susan Smart and Kenn Pitawanakwat.

This is a family oriented workshop that will provide students using oral based instruction. Students will learn the basics of understanding words and phrases, how to ask questions, learn how to have short conversations and how to describe actions. This workshop is sponsored by the Marquette County Community Foundation and the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center.
