Cliffs Michigan Operations Donates to Marquette’s Women’s Center

ISHPEMING, MI — Cliffs Natural Resources, announced today a $2,000 donation from the Cliffs Foundation to the Women’s Center in Marquette to support operating costs.  The Women’s Center, which has seen a decrease in state and federal grants over the years, relies heavily on donations from the community.

“We’re pleased to be able to make this contribution to the Women’s Center,” said Jennifer Huetter, district manager, public affairs in Michigan for Cliffs.  “The Women’s Center provides a much needed service to women and children in need in our community and we’re glad to be able to help support their efforts.”

The Cliffs Foundation is the charitable giving arm of Cliffs Natural Resources helping to support sustainability efforts in communities in which the company operates.
