Fifth Quarter Receptions After Football Games for MSHS

MARQUETTE, MI – The Marquette Education Foundation, in conjunction with the MSHS Athletic Department, will be hosting a Fifth Quarter reception for parents and fans after each Varsity home football game.

The Fifth Quarter reception will host all fall varsity coaches and the band director as guests to allow supporters of the high school programs an opportunity to share our common goal – show pride in our kids.

Each Fifth Quarter will cost $15.00 per person or $20 per couple.  The price of admission will include hors d’ oeuvres, a chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate from the Spirit Store and a cash bar.

“We hope this will be an excellent opportunity for everyone in our community to show physical as well as financial support for our kids”, says Robert Mercure – MSHS ’69, Education Foundation member.

The profit from the Fifth Quarter reception will go into the MAPS Education Foundation’s scholarship/grant fund.  The Education Foundation gives grants out to worthy classroom programs and scholarships to students every year.

The venue will be announced each week there is a Varsity home football game.  The first site will be Marquette’s Historic Landmark Inn on August 24 from 9:30-11:30 p.m.

Come join us and share this time of social interaction and MSHS Pride!!
