Marquette – A King of the Hill Fundraiser for the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will be held on Sunday, August 26 from noon to 9 p.m. at Marquette Mountain on M553 in Marquette.
There will be two stages of entertainment competing for the attention of the audience. The first stage will have DJ’s and the second stage will feature live bands.
The T-Bar will be open for food and beverage. There will also be face painting and live performance painting, and the biggest Slip and Slide ever.
There will be hoopers and also bonfires in the evening. Many vendors will also be on hand. All proceeds will go to UPAWS.
