Negaunee – Black Cat Appreciation Day will be held on Friday, August 18 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
Adoption fees will be waived for all black cats. For more information, call the shelter at 475-6661.
