Harvey – The Silver Creek Neighborhood Block Party will be held on
Saturday, August 18 from noon to 3 p.m. at Silver Creek Church, 219 Silver Creek Road in Harvey.
The event will include a backpack and school supply give away, a children’s clothes closet, carnival style and inflatable games, a special children’s presentation, numerous prizes and giveaways, food and a concert by 41 West.
Many area non-profit agencies will also be on hand to provide information regarding the services they offer within the community. The event is free of charge and being held in conjunction with National Night Out.
