Calumet – The Calumet Heritage Celebration, celebrating the contributions of Finnish immigrants to the Keweenaw Peninsula, will feature
Coppertown Miner’s Reunion at the Coppertown Museum open house on Tuesday, August 14 at 6 p.m. at the Coppertown Musuem.
There will be mining stories with remarks by labor historian Gary Kaunonen from Michigan Technological University.
The Heritage Celebration will continue through Saturday, August 18.
