Marquette – Summer Cinema will host a screening of ”The Adventures of Tintin” on Thursday, August 9 at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This award winning animated feature is about Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure. Together with Captain Haddock, they set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock’s ancestor, the nefarious Red Rockham.
The 2011 film is based on the series of books by Herge, is rated PG and runs for 107 minutes.
Summer Cinema features delicious library café specials by Tu Kaluthia available for purchase and recently released feature films in a dinner theater setting.
