Marquette – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center’s First Thursday Concert Series will present “Four Shilling Short” on Thursday, July 12 at
7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Four Shilling Short will be celebrating their 16th year together, performing traditional Irish Tunes and Airs, Indian Ragas, Folk Ballads and Old-Time songs. Their music is medieval and renaissance instrumentals along with acappella numbers as well as contemporary folk and original compositions.
A donation of $5 is requested at the door to defray the band’s costs. For more information, call 228-0472.
