Marquette – Northern Michigan University will host a College Goal Sunday, February 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the University Center Ontario and Michigan rooms.
This free, statewide event helps high school seniors and their parents understand higher education costs and the financial aid options available.
NMU financial aid counselors and volunteers from the program will be available to help students fill out their Free Application for Federal Student Aid in advance of the March 1 deadline. Attendees are eligible for a statewide drawing for more than $5,000 in scholarships and prizes.
Students and parents should bring their 2008 tax returns or estimating information, such as 2007 tax returns, W-2 forms and other relevant tax documents.
